About Dr Scott D. Schumann:
Dr Scott Schumann a native of Columbus, Ohio, grew up loving the Buckeyes, playing sports, and collecting rocks. Dr Schumann and his wife Robin lives in downtown Columbus with their dog Bourbon the boxer. Dr Schumann loves supporting the local arts, sponsoring little league teams, golfing, fishing, attending concerts and NASCAR events.
Dr Schumann graduated from the Ohio State University Dental School in 1989 and then completed his residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1991, a phenomenal experience, being trained and certified in advance dental techniques, dental implants, and sedation dentistry. He also received a fellowship in Hospital Dentistry, helping him to excel in assisting his medically compromised patients. After returning to Columbus Ohio, Dr. Schumann started his career and began teaching in the Advanced Dentistry Clinic at the Ohio State University, teaching dental residents advance cosmetic, implant, hospital, and sedation dentistry for ten years.
An active member in the Columbus Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentists, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology has been very beneficial in keeping him and his team up to date on the latest developments in dentistry.
