Franklin business wants to add cosmetic tattooing

An East Central Street business is expected to go before the Zoning Board of Appeals tonight seeking permission to offer cosmetic tattoo procedures.

Dermatology Associates’ hearing is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Franklin Municipal Building, 355 East Central St.

The company, which also has offices in Foxborough and Norwood, offers Botox, laser treatments and surgical dermatology for skin lesions and other services, according to its website.

A business that offers cosmetic tattoo procedures is not allowed at Dermatology Associates’ 440 East Central St. location without a variance from the zoning board.
